Implementing classroom management tools and knowing about classroom management skills is one of the key issues in teaching.
Prospective teachers will enter into a reflective, profound dialogue and share ideas how to make the classroom a place of success. The primary objective of this course is to provide students with an understanding of classroom management strategies and theories, as applied to real life situations, pertaining to both teachers and students.
Thus, this course covers skills and knowledge for creating a learning environment that encourages positive social interaction and effective communication among all members of the learning community.
In a next step, a self-critical reflection and analysis of various teacher roles and learning experiences will be necessary as a basis to compose an appropriate and personal classroom management philosophy and rationale.
Moreover, students will gain a broad repertoire of skills from the theories and concepts in this area. These skills will be useful in reflecting, analyzing and understanding classroom management issues as they occur in daily interactions at schools.
Furthermore, students will get familiar with realia used in schools that helps them gain effectiveness and efficiency in their classrooms, thus to create a satisfying relaxed routine in working the crowd.
Finally, they will be introduced to various practical classroom management tools (Bell Work, Room Arrangement, Grouping Tools, etc.) useful to deal with both behavioral and organizational matters in their future teaching careers.
