Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Presentation and discussion of key concepts concerning Global Ditizenship Education.
The aim is to work out and compare the insights about the theory of intercultural philosophy and pedagogy and key concepts GCE in order to question good practices and to contextualise within Civic political education.
Methods:
interactive (e.g. seminar, course: conveying knowledge by presentations, discussions etc.)
Students will develop these skills through interactive lectures, virtual discussions and activities, reading assignments, and essay writing.
- Terminological analyzes and hermeneutic procedures (text exegesis),
- comparison of different ideas and approaches (comparison / transfer),
- Expansion and deepening of learning theory, didactic and pedagogical perspectives with regard to social and socio-political development (transfer, didactization, criticism)

Assessment and permitted materials

- participation in (virtual) discussions and any exercises (a/synchron; Moodle)(40%)
- Podcast Essaywriting (30%)
- Presentation good practices GCE (30%)
