Aims, contents and method of the course

Ausgehend von dem Paradox der Selbstbildung bei Sören Kierkegaard und der daraus folgenden Reflexion von Grenzen des Pädagogischen soll in der Vorlesung der Prozess des Selbst- und Anderswerdens als Bildungsprozess thematisiert werden. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei die Gegenüberstellung zweier pädagogischer Klassiker (Rousseau und Nietzsche) und deren Gegensätze und Gemeinsamkeiten bildungstheoretischer wie -philosophischer Probleme: Kulturkritik, Menschenbild, Möglichkeiten und Grenzen pädagogischen Denkens und Handelns sowie moralischer Erziehung und ästhetischer Bildung.
