Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

We will explore human rights violations around the globe at the intersection of disabilities and diversity focussing on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities as a frame and tool to change.
Guests have been inquired to share their experiences from the field.

Assessment and permitted materials

1. Attendance and active participation during the course
2. Handing in five written assignments in time
3. Proseminararbeit (written thesis)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

This course aims at enabling you to identify and advocate against human rights violations at the intersection of education, disabilities, and diversity.

Examination topics

Varied. Working in groups, on texts, with theoretical inputs, and having discussions.

Reading list
