Aims, contents and method of the course

Ziel des Seminars ist es, ein Verständnis für das Forschungsfeld der kognitiven Psychologie zu ermöglichen und wissenschaftliches Denken zu fördern. Dabei sollen die Grundlagen des Lesens, Präsentierens, Diskutierens und Verfassens wissenschaftlicher Literatur vermittelt werden.

Das Seminar behandelt ausgewählte Inhalte zum Thema "Wahrnehmung, Ästhetik und Affekt". Diese umfassen etwa Angewandte Ästhetik, Ästhetische Emotionen, Filmpsychologie, Gesichtsattraktivität, Kunst und Evolution, Musikpsychologie, Neuroästhetik, Optische Täuschungen, Psychologie des Träumens, Psychologie Neuer Medien, Schönheit, Unbewusste Wahrnehmung, Vorstellungsvermögen und Wahrnehmungsstörungen.

Assessment and permitted materials

Die Notengebung setzt sich aus Online-Aufgaben (25%), Mitarbeit (20%), der Gestaltung einer Einheit in der Gruppe (20%), einer Seminararbeit (25%) und eines Abschlusstests (10%) zusammen.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Grundvoraussetzung für eine positive Note ist die regelmäßige Anwesenheit mit maximal zwei Fehlterminen. Die Gesamtsumme der Teilleistungen ergibt die Seminarnote. Ab 60% ist das Seminar positiv absolviert, die übrigen Noten ergeben sich durch 10%-Stufen.
