Aims, contents and method of the course

* Central concepts concerning Gender & Diversity
* Historical outline concerning gender issues
* Different paradigmatic approaches concerning gender issues and gender differences (biological/evolutionary psychological, concepts from social learning theory, cultural)
* Empirical gender differences and similarites - current results, current research results

Assessment and permitted materials

written exam consisting of 7 questions 2 points each, with 6 questions stemming from a list of questions which can be successively found on moodle and the 7th question concerning one of the mandadory texts
Grading Scale:
<=60%...Fail
>60%-<=70%...Sufficient
>70%-<=80%...Satisfactory
>80%-<=90%...Good
>90%...Very Good

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Introductory konowledge of psychological gender concepts with repect to its paradigmatic connection. Critical reflexion of concepts and research results.

Examination topics

Lecture plus analytical reading of mandatory literature concerning various topics of the lectures; complementary literature will be made available on moodle
