Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture adresses the diversity approach in a psychological context and current research results. Specifically the seven main diversity categories gender, sexuality, generativity, age, race & religion, class & education, disability and the new diversity category body, beauty & weight, which has gained growing importance in the last years, will be discussed. The lecture aims in a critical discussion of the psychology of these differences and the distribution and variation of the above mentioned diversity categories.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam (90 minutes) consisting of 7 questions, 3 cloze / multiple-choice questions plus 4 open questions (2 points each). A list of possible open questions will be uploaded on Moodle successively. Attention, the 7th question will address one of the ten mandatory texts.
