Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Considering conventional and recent developmental theories, the lecture conveys milestones in the individual development of human beings from early childhood to adolescence. After defining development as concept within the developmental psychology, insights into cognitive development, socio-emotional development, brain development and developmental disorders are given. The students acquire knowledge of the most important developmental phenomena in human life. Selected milestones from the behavior and experience of infants, children and adolescents are discussed.
Assessment and permitted materials
- Written exam digitally (4 possible exam dates)
- Multiple choice test (20 questions with 5 alternative answers, of which 1-4 alternatives can be correct): 30 minutes exam time
- No auxiliary materials are allowed

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Minimum requirement for a positive grade: 60% of the maximum achievable points in the MC test
Grade 1: 90 – 100%
Grade 2: 80 - 89%
Grade 3: 70 - 79%
Grade 4: 60 - 69%
Negative assessment: less than 60% of the achievable points
