Aims, contents and method of the course

Chemische Grundlagen des Lebens. Zelle. Stoffwechsel. Zellulaere Kommunikation. Erregbares Gewebe - Neuron und Muskel. Synapse. Das endokrine System und die Regulation der Koerperfunktionen. Herz- und Kreislauf. Atmung. Wasserhaushalt und Ausscheidung. Verdauung. Blut und Immunsystem.

Assessment and permitted materials

Schriftliche Tests zu jedem thematischen Bereich. Die Tests werden ueber das Semester durchgehend eingesetzt.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Psychische Prozesse sind Eigenschaften der biologischen Organismen und sind mit der Funktion des Gehirns assoziiert. Die LV uebermittelt Informationen ueber basalen biologischen Prozessen, die das Leben einen Organismus definieren und unterstuetzen. Die Betonung wird auf die Regulationsmechanismen gegeben, in denen das Gehirn die zentrale Rolle spielt.

Examination topics

Die Themen werden vorgestellt. Die Form des Proseminars ermoeglicht vertiefte individualisierte Erklaerung durch Disskussion.
