Aims, contents and method of the course

AI and Creativity at the Workplace - Are you ready to take creativity to the next level? This course aims to explore the ways in which artificial intelligence(AI) can inspire and augment creative processes within individuals and teams at the workplace. This course will cover a range of topics, including the basics of AI and its applications in augmenting human creativity, as well as the ethical implications of this interaction. The method of instruction for this course will be through bi-weekly presentations and discussions on selected research papers, as well as activities using AI tools.

Assessment and permitted materials

Students will be assessed through a presentation and written assignment.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students will be responsible to summarise a scientific research paper through a presentation to the class(50%) and an assignment(50%) in written form discussing issues or ideas relating to the topic of the paper.

Students must have access to stable internet connection and a functioning webcam and microphone throughout the seminar.

Examination topics

Students should have a keen interest to explore the intersections of AI and creativity in the workplace. Students should be willing to read research articles and actively contribute insights and perspectives on the topic.

Reading list

A reading list with selected research papers will be provided during the first class on 6th March 2023.
