ATTENTION: Some parts of this module will be taught in ENGLISH

The LV Theory and Empirical Research (Development and Education) consists of two consecutive parts. In summer semester 2019 part I. will take place, in winter semester 19/20 part II. The aim of both parts of this course is to acquire the skills and abilities necessary for conducting scientific research.

Part I.: literature review; derivation of empirically testable hypotheses; preparation of the tests and assessments (practical part, see below); preliminary results summarised in an exposé (which includes an overview of the literature)

Part I. also provides practical skills for empirical data collection: coding of behavioral observations & assessing inter-rater reliability; preparation and piloting of child-friendly tests and test apparatuses; training in EEG assessments
