This is a 2-semester course program. Attendance to summer 2021 course is not mandatory but strongly recommended. This first semester aims to prepare the students to conduct an experiment or a survey for their master project in winter semester 2021.
The steps:
(1) Become familiar with a topic
(2) Find a research question and formulate hypotheses
(3) Identify and assess the methods available
(4) Design your study
(5) Implement your study
(6) Conduct the study
Program: The students will be taught the steps 1 to 4 in this semester and steps 5-6 in the next semester. The students will be requested to produce a group-based report for each step from 1 to 4 and will be evaluated on these bases. Groups of 4-5 students will be created.
