Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Europe is characterized by diversity of national and regional administrative systems. This seminar will focus on if and how these administrative systems are affected by the Europeanization process. The questions to be addressed include - what are the mechanisms of Europeanization, has Europeanization facilitated convergence and which factors explain the persistence of established administrative traditions.

Assessment and permitted materials

Reading seminar literature, active participation in seminar discussions, preparation of a presentation and writing a research essay.
