Through these discussions, participants not only learn fundamental concepts and theories of 21st-century feminisms but also gain insights into how the global challenges intersect with gender strategies and counter-hegemonic practices. By engaging with the diverse lineages of new feminisms from around the world, this seminar fosters a critical and nuanced understanding of the politics of everyday life, gender strategies, and feminist theories and practices. Students will learn to critically engage with feminist theories, movements, and discourses while working with peers to analyze texts or case studies and debating transformative possibilities for the future.
