Aims, contents and method of the course

The countries of Latin America have for some time been experiencing a radical process constitutional change characterized by terms like "New Constitutionalism", "Democrácia Delegativa" or "Pluri-ethnic Constitution".

Assessment and permitted materials

*) preparation of a written concept and presentation handout
*) interim and final oral reports on the chosen topic
*) written paper (~ 20 p.)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Analysis of current constitutional developments and models in Latin America and the Caribbean using classical and current state and constitutional theories.

Examination topics

*) group meetings to discuss topics and literature
*) presentation and written report on a specific topic
