Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course combines qualitative and quantitative aspects of research in communication science. The lecturer will try to combine theoretical aspects with practical examples (i.a., from his own research) thus illustrating the “DOs and DONTs“ of planning research designs and data collection. One central aim of the class is to give an overview on the different approaches of designing studies and collecting data in communication science and to enable course participants to independently apply the exercised skills to conduct their own research projects.
