Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This year’s class deals with research designs and data collection in communication science and is split into two parts. First, the lecture will focus on theoretical aspects in planning and designing studies. The second part will be more practical highlighting the DOs and DONTs of planning and designing studies with the help of examples from previous research. The course of lectures will introduce the different research designs and forms of data collection regularly used in communication science. Additionally, in the practical phases students will be asked to think about and design their own studies to address particular research questions.
