Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The COVID-19 pandemic, and the measures to curb it, are dominating our everyday life. The effects of the pandemic are socially and economically often disadvantageous, social inequalities are increasing. The interdisciplinary lecture series brings current research from different disciplines up to discussion. This diversity of perspectives invites for critically reflect on the pandemic as a complex social phenomena.
Assessment and permitted materials
Take Home Exam: Short essay on a given topic (3-5 pages), based on the content discussed in the lecture, and to be handed it within 2 weeksSocial and Cultural Antropology students are required to hand in a reflection on one lecture (with two presentations) to obtain an additional ECTS-point
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Content discussed in the lecturegrades: 19-20 points : 1; 17-18 p.: 2; 14-16 p.: 3; 11-13 p.: 4; 0-10 p.: 5
