Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar reviews various research techniques in the social sciences with an emphasis on those employed in Science, Technology and Society Studies (STS). Debates on the theory and practice of methods of research are highlighted. Students have the opportunity to evaluate various modes of research through in-class and take home exercises, while developing their own research proposal over the course of the term. The class is designed to compliment "Science, Technology, Society (STS): Key-questions and concepts" and "Risky entanglements? Theorising Science, Technology and Society Relationships".
