Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Laboratories, museums, botanical gardens, fieldwork sites, universities, pubs, garages, hospitals, homes, ... The places where knowledge is gathered and produced are very diverse. This seminar will explore the geographies of science and focus on the relationships between space, place and knowledge production. Our seminar too will make us travel between various places: universities and museums (through visits), other countries (via documentaries), the field (and actually doing fieldwork), academic texts, our bodies and the maps we use.
