Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this seminar Prof. Wacquant will focus on five topics: 1. Forms and
mechanisms of urban marginality; 2. Ethnicity, space, and domination; 3.
Penalization in history and advanced society; 4. State transformation in
the neoliberal age; 5. Practice and Symbolic Power in Bourdieu. Students
who participate should prepare some readings. Reading list and texts are
accessible on Moodle.
