Aims, contents and method of the course

The lectures will be held in German.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam for the module (VO Propädeutikum and VO Introduction to Social and Cultural Anthropology); please email your student assistant Julia (julia.bernegger@univie.ac.at) if you will take the exam in English.

You can find information on the exam format in times of Corona via the learning platform moodle!

!! Update: The exam will be held online via the Moodle platform. You will receive a sheet with questions to download and upload your answers (in whole sentences please) again via Moodle. We also use Moodle for communication so please make sure that you are inscribed in the Moodle course.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Grades:
100% to 87% = Excellent (1)
86,99% to 75,00 % = Good (2)
74,99 % to 63,00 % = Satisfactory (3)
62,99 % to 50, 00% = Sufficient (4)
less or equal 49,99% = Unsatisfactory/ Fail (5)
