Aims, contents and method of the course
Goals: In the course of the term, the students should specify the concept of their master thesis and subsequently implement it step by step. At the end of the seminar the basics of the master thesis should be clarified and the introduction of the master thesis should be completed.Contents: The course focuses on the development of the master thesis. Thus, the spectrum of the course includes the deepening and specification of the MA concept as well as its step-by-step implementation. The course provides a framework for discussion and feedback on the individual work steps, focusing on general problems of scientific writing as well as theoretical and methodological principles of scientific work, but above all on the specific questions of the students.Methods: Oral: Presentation and discussion of concept or introduction of the master thesis. Written: Introduction of the master thesis and feedback.
Assessment and permitted materials
Performance Assessment
10% oral contributions to discussion,
30 % presentations,
60 % written formulation of individual chapters of the master's thesis.The timely completion of all performances as well as a maximum of one absence are prerequisites for a positive completion of the course.
