Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The EU announced to present implementation strategies for the Sustainable Development Goals until mid 2018. We will look at the activities of the EU Comission and at EU- institutions and we will try to find out how seriously they are working on the implementation strategies. The seminar wants to give an introduction in the basics of the SDG aproach and discuss efforts of the impelemtnation by the EU. We will discuss an analyse official statements and recent papers and reports in order to find out gaps between rhetoric and real policy. We will look at studies, reports and recommandations and we will try to find criteria to assess the EU is implementation strategies.
