Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
As most of the information will be explored in class I expect that most of the of the students will attend all of the classes. The test will be given verbally. Including a review of your project.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
An introduction to some of the basic principles of photographic practice and theory. To explore and understand the dialogue that may exist between us and the images we view. Starting with the classic Collier and Collier, continuing with other reading which deal with different methodologies emphasizing photography as a research tool in the field.
Examination topics
During the LV reading will be given (in english) to be discussed in class. Films will be show and discussed. If the class is not to large a small photographic project will be developed in class which will be finished discussed on the last day of the class.
