Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

We will read and discuss key texts to important topical areas of women's studies, feminist theory, gender studies and queer studies. We especially focus on historical and theoretical contexts, construction and restruction of central terms and concepts.

Assessment and permitted materials

Reading texts, taking part in the discussion in class, written discussion of each text, essay about two of the texts, presenting a text in class.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Understanding, critical discussion and contextualization of key terms and concepts in women's studies, gender studies and queer studies.

Examination topics

text analysis, discussions, working groups, presentations, scientific reviews
