Forms of Chicana Feminism, based on the concept of Mestizaja (borderland identity) will be examined with regard to their importance for decolonial anthropological research.
We will read and discuss texts of Chicana Feminists as well as decolonial theory and methodology. How can these concepts help us to decolonize our thinking and practice as anthropologists.
