Students who passed the undergraduate courses will be prefered. The others will be collected on a waiting list. If somebody does not attend the preliminary discussion, he or she would lost his repectively her place and another student from the waiting list could succeed. So it is absolutely necessary to come in time to the first appointment: Friday 4th of october, 11:15, seminar room 7, 1090 Vienna, Oskar-Morgensten-Platz 1, second floor.

Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture focuses on possibilities for integration in mathematical education. Therefore we will discuss on the one hand connections with regard to content as such which have a methodical bias. On the other hand applications of mathematics and combinations of different mathematical fields will be analyzed both. How can cross-linked thinking stimulted and supported in mathematics education?
Assessment and permitted materials
Assessment of the talks which are given in the seminar, and of the participation in the discussions which will happen in the plenum. So for the last point it is necessary to obey the compulsary presence.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Reading original articles on subject didactics, analyzing them and reflection on them.
Examination topics
Classical seminar: Giving lectures.

ATTENTION! If you want to take part in this course, you have to register for it from September 1 to September 15 at UNIVIS! Without registration you can not participate in this course! The order of registration is not important for acceptance into the course. Should there be more applicants than available places, the places will be assigned randomly. Students who have officially finished the first part of the mathematics teaching curriculum will have preference! Non-accepted students will be put on a waiting list. If an accepted student does not appear at the preparatory meeting, he/she will be deleted from the list of participants, and the free spaces in the list will be replenished from the waiting list, so it is important that you come to the preparatory meeting on time! (Tuesday Oktober 1, 2013, 13:15, Seminar room 8, Oskar-Morgenstern-Platz 1, 2nd floor)!
