The content of the related lecture should be deepened functionally and reflected didactically by discussing concrete exercises.

Assessment of the given presentations and of other constructive contributions, of the engagement in general.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Preparation for a competently handling of applied topics of school mathematics at secondary level.

Examination topics

Presenting the solved exercises by the students at the blackboard.

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this course we will solve and discuss concrete tasks in applied mathematics on secondary school level

Assessment and permitted materials

The assessment is comprised of:
*) number of prepared tasks (to be ticked off in Moodle)
*) Presentation of task solutions on the board
*) Active participation in the discussion of solutions
The exact assessment criteria will be announced at the preparatory meeting and will be available in Moodle.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

By means of self-executed tasks and discussion of the solutions the students should gain insights into fundamental ideas, concepts and methods of applied school mathematics.

Examination topics

Presentation of solutions of tasks by students, discussion.
