PDEs of 2nd order: For linear operators with constant coefficients the
connection between hypoellipticity of the operator and the regularity of
fundamental solutions will be shown. For linear elliptic PDEs we shall
deal with regularity results for weak solutions. Thereby Sobolev spaces
play an important role. In particular properties of eigenfunctions of
Schroedinger operators will be investigated: regularity, asymptotic behaviour, connections with the spectrum of the corresponding operators.
solutions will be shown.
