in order to be included into a mailing list which is to be generated for the active participants of the course.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

understand the role of methods from analysis for application areas, mostly functional analysis seen as a combination of linear algebra with methods from analysis (limits), and somewhat function spaces. The course leader will provide first hand information about the relevance of such methods in real world applications reazlied within the work-group NuHAG.

Examination topics

presentation of material at the blackboard, MATLAB experiments, LINKS, written material (rough course notes).
