Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Metric geometry is the study of the geometric properties of metric spaces. It generalizes and unifies many concepts known from Riemannian geometry, like length of curves, geodesics, curvature, and convexity, while at the same time remaining intuitive. In this seminar we explore the basics of this highly active research area.
