Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

lecture course, taught in English on demand. The course discussion the relations beteween classical geometry, differntial geometry, and Lie theory. Main aim is the description of invariant geometric objects on a homogeneous space in terms of finite dimensional represenation theory, which is accessible to explicit computation. On the way, fundamental concepts of modern differential geometry (bundles and connections) are developed.
