Aims, contents and method of the course

Objective of the course: understanding the construction, analysis, and application of numerical methods.
Topics: hp-finite element methods; vector-valued finite elements; adaptivity; discontinuous Galerkin methods; isogeometric analysis; practical examples using the virtual finite elements.
Additional information: course especially designed for the DK/SFB Students.
