Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The modern semigroup theory is a functional analytic approach to solving
abstract evolution equations, that is partial differential equations
describing the evolution in time of a certain system. The aim of this course is to give an introduction to the theory of strongly continuous semigroups
with many applications to evolution equations of linear and semilinear type.
