Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Fluid dynamics and its ramifications are central for many sciences and technical applications (astrophysics, meteorology, geophysics, various processes in technical areas, [motors, chip production,...]). The lecture will provide a mathematically oriented introduction and will concentrate on newer development of numericlal methods.
Assessment and permitted materials
oral examinations
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Acquisition of basic knowledge of hydrodynamics and access to newer methods in particular in the numerical area
Examination topics
The good old lecture; questions welcome.
