Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The material for the problem sessions is available at https://www.mat.univie.ac.at/~gue/material.html
Assessment and permitted materials
Weekly checkmarks for the problems solved and presentation of solutions by students at the blackboard (upon request).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The grade will be based on the combination of the number of problems checked (overall for the entire semester) and the student solution presentations, with more emphasis on the latter. To pass, students are required to have
(a) at least 50% of the problems checked (overall for the entire semester),
(b) at least two acceptable solution presentations.
In principle, students are required to attend every weekly session; in the exceptional case of unavoidable absence please notify me by e-mail in advance.
