Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This is continuation of the "basic algebraic geometry" course last semester, which served an introduction to schemes. We will dive deeper in algebraic geometry and try to cover sections 2,3,4 of Hartshorne's book. The main motivation is to study moduli spaces in the future. Main topics are:
1. Proper, separated, smooth morphisms, differential forms.
2. Coherent sheaves and their cohomology.
3. Curves (maybe surfaces).
