Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Principal fiber bundles are a fundamental tool in differential geometry and global analysis, where they provide the language for understanding curvature and for studying the interplay between geometry, analysis and topology. In mathematical physics they set the stage for gauge theories and the standard model of particle physics. This course provides an introduction to the topic, mainly following the book [1] by Helga Baum.

Oral Exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
You should have a clear understanding of the main concepts introduced in the lecture and of their interrelations. Some proofs you should be able to reproduce will be listed in moodle.
