Some of the methods are presented in more detail,
including theoretical numerical analysis and practical implementation.Spectral methods - FFT;
Finite Element Methods (FEM) for elliptic and parabolic problems;
Methods for advection-diffusion problems
and for the Helmholtz problem.Operator splitting methods;
Semi-Lagrangian methods;
Fast multipole methods.(nontrivial) boundary conditions.Practical exercises help to illustrate / understand the methods.
