Phase 1: There will be an introduction into the dynamic geometry software GeoGebra by the tutor. This includes a number of tasks that are to be solved (during the course time). This phase will take place online in BigBlueButton on Moodle.
Phase 2: The students will form groups (size depends on the number of participants) and select a topic from school mathematics out of a given list. Each group will then prepare a 100-minute teaching unit (including a 5-minute break) with interactive ICT useage (i.e. also the pupils are expected to work with ICT) and create a 5-minute learning video for their topic (it is also possible for each group member to create their own learning video; in this case the sum of the runtimes should be 5 minutes). This video is to be used in the teaching unit.
Phase 3: The groups will present their teaching units in a teaching simulation setting, i.e. the presenters will be "teachers", the other students will be "pupils". The presenters will divide into two subgroups, whereby each subgroup will perform the same teaching unit in one of the two available rooms. The teaching method(s) can be freely chosen by the presenters. After the teaching simulation, the other students, the tutor, and the lecturer will give feedback.Aims: Learning about and trying out several ICT products in a teaching situation, acquiring competences to choose suitable teaching methods and technical resources to given topics, aquiring competences to analyse and give feedback to ICT-supported teaching units. Methods: group work, presentation, discussionUpdate (01.03.2022): Given the low number of participants it is not necessary to divide the groups into subgroups. All presentations will take place in PC-Seminarraum 2.
