Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lab course will be divided into 3 groups to perform experiments towards the production of novel materials for new technologies.

Goup 1: Synthesis and spectroscopy characterization of 1D and 2D carbon-based nanomaterials.
(Paola Ayala, Juan Carlos Moreno)

Group 2: Electron Microscopy approach to 2D Materials.
(Toma Susi, Jacob Madsen)

Group 3: Superconductors for single-photon detectors
PD Dr. habil. Oleksandr Dobrovolskiy

Assessment and permitted materials

Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3: The assessment will be based on the previous understanding (preparation) for the different experiments, the engagement during the lab work, the quality of the lab reports, and from the result of final oral test.
