Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This is the second part of the introductory lecture on laboratory based tests of gravity. After a brief review of the contents of Part I (gravity experiments with classical systems) we will now focus on gravity tests using quantum systems, specifically using quantum states of neutrons, atoms and photons. We will also discuss future prospects and experimental challenges for testing quantum aspects of gravity. The lecture will be supplemented by discussions of the current literature.
Assessment and permitted materials
Students will be giving presentations of scientific experimental papers relevant for the content of the lecture.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Examination topics
Students will be giving presentations of scientific experimental papers relevant for the content of the lecture.
Reading list
Literature will be provided during the course.
