Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim is to deepen and to apply the concepts and methods of the lecture "Lie-groups and Lie-algebras for physicists" in specific physical problems and applications. (participation in the lecture is not required but recommended). Applications in particle physics, quantum mechanics and other areas will be elaborated.

Seminar presentation and written summary of the presentation
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Each participant gives a presentation about a topic to be chosen at the beginning of the semester. A written summary of the talk must be handed in. Both the talk and the written summary are graded and contribute equally to the final grade.requirements: either the accompanying lecture and the requirements thereof,
