Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This is the 2nd part of the lecture "Experimental and conceptual foundations of quantum physics and quantum information". Besides basic concepts of quantum physics and quantum information various experimental realizations of quantum systems will be discussed. Topics include photonic, atomic and solid-state implementations of quantum information and their applications for quantum information processing, for quantum measurements and for new fundamental tests of quantum physics.
Assessment and permitted materials
Oral exam
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The students will get an understanding of the state of the art in experimental quantum science. They will also understand the current experimental and conceptual challenges in the field.
