Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of the seminar is to obtain a good understanding of (mostly classical) relativistic field theories. The seminar provides the prerequisites for a block lecture course on supergravity that is planned for the subsequent term.Content: Scalar field theories and symmetries, Dirac field, Clifford algebras and spinors, gauge fields, Rarita-Schwinger field, supersymmetry
Assessment and permitted materials
Seminar talk and written summary
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Every participant gives a talk on a topic that is assigned at the beginning of the term, and hands in a written summary before. The talk and the summary are graded and contribute in equal parts to the total mark.
