Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar gives an introduction to low-dimensional solids, such as graphene, carbon nanotubes and thin films, and an introduction to modern methods for their characterization (scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Raman scattering, angle-resolved photoemission). Further, the integration of these materials into application devices is discussed. The seminar serves also as a preparation for the seminar and lab course low dimensional solids.
