Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam. Duration about 3 hours. Four calculation examples, which are similar to the exercises, have to be worked out. The elaboration of an example is usually between one and three pages. It is strongly recommended to complete the exercises, as this contributes significantly to the deepening of the learned material and thus makes mastering of the exam examples much easier. During the examination, the lecture notes may be used in printed form.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
At the exam, at least 50% of the possible points need to be obtained for a positive grade.
Examination topics
Exam topics include all topics covered in the lecture and exercise. In the exam, mostly examples are to be calculated that are similar to the exercise examples. Selected sections from the lecture material could also be tested (derivations of equations).
