Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Exercises for VO Quanteninformation (2019W) - Aims: Understanding and solving problems in quantum information
Contents: Exercises and insights on the topics of the 260085 VO Quanteninformation (2019W) course, including but not limited to qubits manipulation, Kraus operators, separability criteria, entanglement, non-locality inequalities, quantum protocols (such as Quantum Teleportation, Quantum Cryptography, Super Dense Coding, and others), quantum algorithms (such as Grover, Deutsch-Josza and others).
Methods: Blackboard exercises, assignments, frontal lectures

Assessment and permitted materials

The grade will be given according to these criteria, weighted equally.
1. Final written exam (in class). A set of questions about all the topics of the course - MANDATORY
2. Attendance the lectures. OR
3. Submission of weekly exercises sheet with a reasonable attempt.
Bonus points to the final grade at who presents exercises in class.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

At least 2 positive (> grade 4) evaluations on the evaluation criteria, where the final written exam is mandatory.

Positive evaluation comes from:
1) >50% points on the written exam
2) Attendance to >85% of the lectures
3) On time submission of >51% of the exercise sheets with reasonable attempt, and reasonably distributed during the semester.

Examination topics

Exercises on the topics of Quanteninformation (2020W) course. All that we learn during classes and home assignments.
