Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Seminar on selected topics of experimental particle physics. Students give short (20.30 minutes) presentations. They select the subject freely or from the literature given below, and participate in the discussion after the talks. Goals are to learn how to explain a topic to colleagues who are not very familiar with the subject, and to train questions and answers after a scientific presentation.
Assessment and permitted materials
Judgement of the talk (clarity of the presentation and the slides, didactic structure) and participation in the discussion
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Active participation in all seminars, one presentation on a selected topic
Examination topics
Content of presentation, clarity, quality of slides, amount of participation in discussions
